With rapid growth in poultry industry and improvement in growth performance parameters, immunity of birds is ultimately compromised. In this context, bird's respiratory system is the most vulnerable site of infection and is commonly encountered as Respiratory Disease Complex.
The emergence of antibiotic resistant bacterial strains, non-availability of effective and economical antibacterial agents for treating aforesaid conditions and ban on antibiotics coming down across many countries world-wide, have passed tremendous challenge ahead of poultry professionals. Moreover, treatment with antibiotics have negative impact on growth performance and emergence of resistant strains further complicating the diseases.
EssBee is an unique water soluble concentrate based on a combination of natural essential oils that are produced by the secondary metabolism of aromatic and medicinal plants like Eucalyptus oil, Thyme oil, Basil oil, peppermint oil, camphor oil, ginger oil and clove oil.

Why did we choose essential oils (EOs) blends?
Chemically, EOs are monoterpenoids and oxygenated monoterpenoids. These components mainly 1,8 - cineole and other monoterpenses have potent anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant and bronchodilator actions.
Respiratory disease in poultry elicits aggravated inflammatory response in respiratory tract leading to damage of tracheal epithelial cells, cilia and lung tissue. Components like 1,8 cineole (strong inhibitor of TNS-alpha and IL-1Beta) have potent anti-inflammatory effects (suppress release of anti-inflammatory cytokines) which lead to reduction of tissue damage in respiratory infections and can control airway mucus hyper-secretion (relieves blocked airways from mucus flooding).
